Skills and Training

While first responder experience is always welcomed, we encourage everyone to join our team. We offer some training in certain aspects of our operations. Having CPR certification, or being willing to obtain it, is highly beneficial. We also have various other options available, so don't hesitate to reach out even if you don't have prior experience.

A day in the life of a volunteer

As a volunteer, your tasks might include setting up essential equipment such as tents, tables, heaters in winter, or fans in summer. You could be distributing water to responders at a fire scene or encouraging departments to visit our tents for a drink or a brief respite. Every task, big or small, contributes significantly to supporting our first responders.
